My name is D. Laney. I have always loved science fiction and fantasy, growing as part of the Potter Generation. This series was inspired by a collection of writers whom I look up to, including Kelley Armstrong (who made me fall in love with Clayton Danvers in The Men of the Otherworld), Jeaniene Frost (who taught me that I want to marry someone who pushes me), Keri Arthur (who taught me a lot more about passion then sex ed ever did), J. K. Rowling (who truly taught me more childhood lessons than any school teacher), and so many more! I hope that my writing can some day be half as amazing as their's!

As previously stated, I'm D. Laney. I am a student, as well as proud Pagan. That being said, I would like to point out that although some of my personal beliefs are clearly evident in my writing, this is fiction, so no, I do not throw fireballs, nor do I make bids with dark forces of evil in the night.
While I have yet to completely master my craft, I would like to say I believe I am extremely empathetic, and that it is a gift from my Goddess. I have a grey cat, named Lilith, and she is more than any familiar you will find, she's my best friend and true partner in crime, especially when we tag team to hunt a fly. I'm also a vegetarian, theatre nerd, and extremely talkative. Don't be afraid to send me stuff!
